If you happen to share one of your articles, or blog posts, via Google Plus. Google’s new Social Network.
They are showing those results in the Search Engines.
But….
You can’t just get something to show up in Google by posting it to Plus.
- The Post Must Be Public
- The Search Must Be Following the Original Poster on Google +
- The Searcher Must Be Logged Into Their Google Account
So if you would like to get your shares to the first page of Google.
Make sure your clients are in one of your circles/following you in Google Plus. And make sure every link is public.

Use this info to get your videos to rank higher in the search engines.
I read an interesting article today over at Search Engine Land.
There’s two stores here in Albuquerque with the same name, same products, basically everything the same (it’s a franchise operation) but one of the sites is ranking well in the search engines but the other one isn’t.
So they asked questions about site structure, meta data, etc.
And nothing stuck out as to why one site would rank better than the other.
And he finished the article with an interesting assumption, or question. One of the stores is located closer to the center of the city.
Could that be why that one particular store was ranking higher in the search engines?
